The Accessibility Coalition exists to help disabled students find community on campus. Marketing needed to meet students where attention already existed.
As Director of Marketing, I identified sports as a high traffic entry point for visibility. I proposed a partnership with ASU athletics to place Accessibility Coalition ads inside the sports center and during a live sports game. This approach connected the disability community to a space students already associated with belonging and school pride.
I aligned supporting campaigns to the same week to convert awareness into action. Messaging directed students from the public placement toward Disability Awareness Week programming and organization membership.
The campaign increased social reach by 20% and strengthened participation across the academic year. The Coalition became easier to recognize and easier to engage within everyday campus life.
